Golfers Guide: Where to Stay
Loch Lomond – Balmaha, Scotland
The Buchanan Castle Golf Club is situated just 2 miles from our Loch Lomond lodges. This beautiful 18-hole golf course has magnificent views of Ben Lomond and the Luss Hills. The club features a varied and challenging course and offers lodge guests a range of membership-style benefits.
Beachcomber is a 4-bedroom beach house located next to Holywell Bay. The nearest golf course is Holywell Golf Club, only a 15-minute walk from your doorstep. There you’ll find two challenging 18-hole golf courses with wonderful sea views. Newquay Golf Club is also not far away. The par 69 course boasts fabulous views of the famous Fistral Beach and is playable all year round. The Newquay and Holywell Golf courses are also convenient for guests staying in our Fistral Beach apartments.
John O’Groats is a wonderfully secluded location meaning you certainly won’t be bothered by the crowds whilst playing a peaceful round of golf. The nearest course to our eco-lodges is Wick golf club, an 18-hole course beginning and ending at the club house. With beautiful views over Sinclair Bay (and a local distillery on route!) Wick Golf Club is the perfect golfing destination.
There are two great golf courses near our luxury Llyn cottages. Nefyn Golf Club boasts magnificent sea views and views of Mount Snowdon in the distance. If you have a tighter budget why not try Pwllheli Golf Club, just 20 minutes away and offering more reasonable rates.
There are two golf course convenient for our Yorkshire Dales guests to play at, Richmond Golf Club and Catterick Golf Club. Richmond Golf club is the closest. The club has an 18-hole course, a clubhouse and a 3 acre driving range. Catterick Golf club has a par 71, 18-hole course which isn’t the longest but is, nevertheless, fun and challenging.
