The gorgeous 850-acre family estate of Miserden is popular for its beautiful gardens, which are open to the public. Lose yourself amid the colourful flowers, splendid topiaries, and other fantastic plants while enjoying spectacular views over the Cotswold landscape beyond – the perfect place to unwind.

Museum in the Park

Take a stroll through the glorious Stratford Park and pay a visit to this fantastic museum, based in a Grade II-listed 17th-century mansion house. Over 4,000 exhibits tell the tale of Stroud’s history, from prehistoric times up to the modern day. Don’t miss the art gallery or the secret garden!

Slimbridge Wetland Centre

For an amazing close encounter with all kinds of wildlife, look no further than the Slimbridge Wetland Centre. This nature reserve is host to a range of fascinating creatures, including birds, amphibians, and mammals, both native and exotic. Explore 100 acres of natural wetlands with lots to see and do.

Woodchester Mansion

This amazing Victorian Gothic mansion is special in a very unique way – it was never finished. Learn the secrets of 19th century construction as you explore this magnificent yet incomplete building, frozen in time as it was when abandoned in the mid-1860s. There are also special events through the year.
