Golfer's Guide: Where to Stay

Loch Lomond – Balmaha, Scotland

The Buchanan Castle Golf Club is situated just 2 miles from our Loch Lomond lodges. This beautiful 18-hole course has magnificent views of Ben Lomond and the Luss Hills. It offers a varied and challenging experience, and a range of membership-style benefits are available for lodge guests on site.

John O’Groats - Caithness

John O’Groats is a wonderfully secluded location, meaning you certainly won’t be bothered by the crowds whilst playing a peaceful round. The nearest course to our eco-lodges is Wick Golf Club, offering 18 holes which begin and end at the clubhouse. With beautiful views over Sinclair Bay (and a local distillery along the way!), Wick is the ideal destination for those looking to play a round or two.

Llyn Peninsula - North Wales

There are two great courses near our luxury Llyn cottages. Nefyn Golf Club boasts magnificent sea views and the vista of Snowdon in the distance. If you have a tighter budget why not try Pwllheli Golf Club, just 20 minutes away and with prices more suited to the cost-conscious?

Yorkshire Dales - Yorkshire

There are two courses convenient for our Yorkshire Dales guests to play at, Richmond Golf Club and Catterick Golf Club. Richmond is the closest, and boasts 18 holes, a clubhouse and a 3-acre driving range. Catterick offers a par-71 18-hole affair which isn’t the longest but is, nevertheless, fun and challenging.
