Place was absolutely perfect, stocked with everything we needed, the bath was amazing, the bed was massive and comfy and the living room was snuggly, couldn't fault our stay, would recommend highly!

Oh my is all I can say, you will not be disappointed. I fell in love with it, we both did. Simply stunning.

The view from the lounge window overlooked the landmark John O'Groat's signpost, it was lovely to watch people celebrating the end of their long journey from Lands End. Would thoroughly recommend to those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The apartment was quirky, warm, well thought out and beautifully appointed. We loved the views out over the harbour, the copper bath in the bedroom, and falling asleep to the sound of the sea.

What can I do?

Local Beaches

Caithness has some lovely beaches which are great for coastal walks. The views at Duncansby Beach are absolutely stunning. Here you’ll be able to watch the waves batter the famous coastal stacks and appreciate the striking landscape. Shell Beach is also worth a visit, the sand is made entirely of broken shells, hence the name. Keep an eye out for puffins and other sea birds.

Boat Rides

One of the most exciting things to do in this wild landscape is embark on a sea safari. During your trip you are likely to see porpoises, dolphins and grey seals, not to mention a myriad selection of sea birds. If you’re particularly lucky you might see orca and minke whales.
