This superbly characterful carrstone cottage is situated in a quiet area of Dersingham and puts you in a prime position to explore the local area's many appealing attractions. You'll find yourself within walking distance of HRH The Queen's Norfolk residence, Sandringham House, and a short drive away from some stunning local beaches.
Named after the delightful birds that like to pay their short visit at the start of summer each year, Swift Cottage is two Victorian cottages that have been seamlessly combined into one, and is simply lovely! Renovated to a high standard with ample character still evident there are beamed ceilings throughout, an inglenook fireplace and feature brick walls and archways. Pale decor, floorboards and beams combine with funky antler wall lights and modern cottage-style furniture and furnishings. The overall feel is modern, relaxing, airy and spacious with a hint of Scandi, luxury and plenty of comfort. The well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms are bang up-to-date, and the two double bedrooms have super comfy beds, one of which offers a twin or super king option (please request your desired option on booking).
Swift Cottage is a super Norfolk hideaway for couples, friends and small families at any time of the year. It offers a lovely base from which to get out and about and enjoy this beautiful part of North West Norfolk, and then return to after a busy day exploring. Perfect for visiting both the beach and country houses, walking, birdwatching, cycling and, don't forget, enjoying some of the most delicious local produce you will find on offer in a of nearby selection of pubs, restaurants and farm shops.
The growing village of Dersingham is just over two miles from Sandringham and a short drive to the beaches at Snettisham, Heacham and Hunstanton. The village offers great amenities including a newsagent, two supermarkets, a coffee shop serving breakfast and light meals, a fish and chip shop as well as the award winning Coach & Horses pub which has recently won Norfolk CAMRA Pub of the Year. As well as the nearby beaches and the house and gardens at Sandringham, there are miles of coastal paths close by, numerous nature reserves and the nearby lavender fields around Heacham are worth seeing, along with a visit to Norfolk Lavender where you will also find the award-winning Walsingham Farm Shop's contemporary food emporium.

Norfolk is dotted with many delightful market towns which are well worth a visit, many situated along the coast and all with their own unique charm. Any one of them is worth exploring and discovering for yourself, but particular favourites include Burnham Market with its boutique clothing shops, and Aylsham, which offers a rich heritage and a peaceful pace of living.
