This pretty semi-detached cottage comes with a large open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room with french doors opening onto two eating areas and there is plenty of space inside and out on the terrace to dine al fresco. With three lovely appointed bedrooms decorated in coastal tones with quality mattresses, pretty linens, soft pillows and duvets, you can be assured of a good night’s sleep and long lie-ins. In addition to the family bathroom there is also a downstairs shower room making it a perfect cottage when two couples want to holiday together.
From Stone Lodge you can explore some spectacular coastal walks; the beautiful sandy beaches; gaze at the famous red cliffs; and play on the famous championship Links golf course, all of which are just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage. With a superb village shop two minutes walk away, you can pop out for croissants and pastries in the morning. There are several places to eat, including the family-friendly Lodge Hotel, Mariners Arms and the very special and divine Michelin-starred restaurant, The Neptune Inn.
Old Hunstanton is one of a few exceptions along the North Norfolk coast in that you can access the beach without having to trek over the salt marshes to get there! The vast sand dunes and pretty beach huts make this an ideal family retreat, and for those who are more active there is a wide array of places to paddleboard, kayak, kite surf, play golf and tennis.
There are plenty of places to eat, all within walking distance including The Neptune Inn, The Lodge Hotel, The Mariners Arms and the traditional beach café which sits opposite the lifeboat station.
With the RSPB Titchwell nature reserve just a few miles away and the coastal path in easy reach, this is a great place to start your tour of North Norfolk.
Enjoy gentle rambles along the coast and countryside walks on warm summer days or autumnal bike rides along the quiet narrow lanes. For a bit of history, head to Houghton Hall, Holkkham Hall, Blickling or HM The Queen’s residence at Sandringham where you can while away a day. Young families will enjoy visits to Pensthorpe, the Sea Life Centre at Hunstanton and Park Farm at Snettisham.
For the grown-ups head to trendy Burnham Market where you can browse the independent shops and drink coffee in the numerous cafe's and deli's. Head to Drove Orchards just up the road in Thornham to buy fresh fish and sample some of the best Fish and Chips around at Eric's. Or if you want to be healthier, sample Drove's home-pressed apple juice, huge variety of applies and pick fruit from their fruit farm when in season.

Norfolk is dotted with many delightful market towns which are well worth a visit, many situated along the coast and all with their own unique charm. Any one of them is worth exploring and discovering for yourself, but particular favourites include Burnham Market with its boutique clothing shops, and Aylsham, which offers a rich heritage and a peaceful pace of living.
