Situated in the desirable harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea on the beautiful North Norfolk coast, the superb Seawood House sleeps up to 8 guests in comfortable and convenient accommodation, ideal for a seaside getaway.
The gorgeous Seawood House makes for a fantastic place to spend some time in Wells-next-the-Sea, with sweeping upper-floor views which even stretch to the ocean.
Seawood House is a stunning double fronted period house. Set over four floors, the house accommodates eight people, and will appeal to families - especially those who like to enjoy their own space - and couples or friends wanting a fabulous holiday house with contemporary interiors in a superb location. As you enter the house from the front door, you know you've come to stay somewhere a bit different and a rather special. On the ground floor there is a spacious dining room, a sophisticated snug/sitting room (spot the Moomin lamp!), a well-equipped kitchen and downstairs shower room. From the kitchen, steps (mind your head!) lead down to a great basement conversion, softly lit by natural light from the light wells at the front of the house. Here there's a tv room as well as a games room with ping pong table to keep everyone entertained. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms (kingsize, kingsize or twin, and bunk) and a house bathroom. The striking top floor bedroom which has a 'loft living' look and one of the best views in the house. Please note: All the stairs in the house are on the steep side, so might not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Outside there is a courtyard garden, and an outhouse with washer/dryer. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
Step outside the front door, and you are only a few minutes' walk from the centre of this ever popular seaside town, with its bustling quayside, independent shops, cafes and gastro pubs. There is something here for everyone, at any time of year and whatever your age, and once you've discovered this super house you will want to return again and again.
Wells-next-the-Sea is a hub for North Norfolk coastal activities. From the picturesque harbour (where crabbing is a must) you can either walk, take the narrow-gauge railway or drive to the spectacular beach with its famous array of colourful beach huts. Stop at the Beach Cafe afterwards for a drink and snack - you can also hose down a sandy dog! Wells has a pretty, leafy green peaceful square,The Buttlands, which is surrounded by fine Georgian buildings. There is a bustling high street with all kind of independent shops, some lovely tearooms, great gastro pubs and restaurants. This beautiful coastline is a top destination for birders and walkers all year round. Beautiful Holkham Hall is just down the road. You can hire a bike from the quayside and spend a day exploring the coastal paths, or perhaps Holkham estate. And, don't forget to reward yourself after a busy, active day with some of the best fish and chips in the area.

A sunny room, again with window shutters, with comfy leather sofa and two armchairs.This is a nice quiet spot to enjoy reading, and good conversation.
A cosy room, but equipped with everything you need. There is an electric cooker with extractor over, microwave, dishwasher, Smeg larder fridge with freezer box and a breakfast bar with stools. A door leads out in to the courtyard garden.

To the front of the house, with a modern four poster bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe cupboard. Further clothes hanging available on decorative wall knobs.
KIng Size/Twin Bedroom
Also at the front of the house, with a zip-and-link bed which can be made up as a king size or 2'6" singles (please request on booking). There are two storage cupboards, one with shelving, the other with hanging space. Further hanging space on decorative knobs on the wall.
Full-size bunk beds, chest of drawers, hooks behind the door and a great, great view.
With bath, which has a hand held shower attachment, washbasin and wc.
King Size Bedroom
Although you are essentially in the loft there is no height restriction to the room. There is a modern hanging rail, Ottaman storage desk and chaise longue, so you can soak up that fantastic open view across to the sea.
There is an enclosed, courtyard garden with table, chairs and barbecue. An outhouse in the courtyard houses a washer/dryer.
Roadside parking is available close by, and you should be able to find spaces. There are double yellow lines immediately outside the house. There is a council car park 2 minutes' walk away; a weekly parking permit is available for £27.50, and can be purchased from the ticket machine.
The Coasthopper bus service (Kings Lynn-Cromer-Kings Lynn) runs regularly throughout the year, with stops on Freeman Street and The Buttlands, so you could leave your car behind for the day if you want to explore coastal resorts beyond Wells.
