Located centrally in the bustling harbour village of Brancaster Staithe, popular for sailing and fishing, it's the perfect place for a coastal break, and is also within easy walking distance of two fabulous pubs/restaurants. A good base any time of year for families or couples, you'll love its close proximity to the coast path and to the sandy beaches at Brancaster, Titchwell, Holme- and Wells-next-the Sea.
In terms of where you to eat, you are well and truly spoilt … as you’re in easy walking distance of the family-friendly Jolly Sailor’s pub/restaurant where you can also enjoy takeaway pizzas, the renowned White Horse gastro pub/restaurant with its stunning views over the marsh from its verandah and dining conservatory and Deepdale Café where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast or lunch throughout the year.
The owner also creates tasty homemade suppers to welcome you on your first night to save you cooking or having to head out again after a long drive, perfect if you are arriving late. All meals come ready-made and prepared so all you have to do is heat up in the oven! Further details will be provided via your arrival guide, so you can pre-order ahead of your stay.
Head out with your dog and walk the coast path which is literally just across the road to the Jolly Sailor’s pub/restaurant or opt to turn left and head up Common Lane where you will just adore the walks through the heathland and common land of Barrow Common. Views from the top are to die for and offer some of the best vista’s and coastal views along this part of the coast.
The Coasthopper bus stops just a few hundred yards away and provides an excellent service along the coast road, so if you love walking and exploring, but don’t enjoy walking back as much; then simply catch the bus home!
Access to the property is via the rear garden.
