Moongazer Cottage is situated in West Norfolk in the popular seaside village of Heacham, around 3 miles from the resort town of Hunstanton. The property boasts a peaceful location set back from the road, ensuring a relaxing place to return to after a day at the beach.
This pretty cottage boasts plenty of traditional charm but has also been thoroughly refurbished to ensure modern levels of comfort. Located in the classic coastal resort of Heacham, it makes an ideal place to stay for a group of up to 4 guests seeking a seaside holiday in Norfolk.
The cottage is stylishly presented and has a spacious kitchen and dining area, cosy sitting room with log burner and downstairs bathroom. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a second cloakroom. There is a fully enclosed rear garden - ideal for children and dogs.
Heacham beach is a 10-15 minute walk away from the cottage, so easy to pack a picnic and head to the beach for the day. Heacham village has a range of shops, pubs and amenities and a family pub which is great for sunday roasts and well known its Thursday night Steak night!
Norfolk Lavender is located on the edge of the village which boasts a fabulous farm shop and Indoor/Outdoor Play area for the children.
Head out in the car and you are in easy reach of everything North Norfolk has to offer, including bird and nature reserves, stunning beaches and wonderful deli's, restaurants and cafe's. Hunstanton is closeby too with its watersports facilities, Sea Life Centre and much more.
For the younger generation there is nearby Snettisham Park Farm with lambing feeding in the Spring and the whole family will enjoy the deer safari. A little further afield and just a 15 minute drive is HM The Queen's residence, Sandringham House which you can tour at certain times of the year and the parkland and woods and well worth a visit too.
Cosy room with log burner set on a tiled hearth (logs available for arrival). Original beams to the ceiling and two, two seater sofas. Combined TV & DVD player, nautical style wall lighting, chest and table lamps.
Stairs lead to the first floor with fitted stairgate at the foot of the stairs. A door leads through to the kitchen/diner.
The kitchen area is particularly welcoming with hand-built bespoke units, with cup handles and wooden work surfaces and ceramic sink with mixer tap. There are exposed beams to the ceiling. There is a wonderful seating area with bench seating, pine table and chairs and exposed beams to the ceiling. Integrated appliances include electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge.
The utility separates the kitchen from the rear of the cottage, it has a handy washing machine and table top freezer.
Bath with rainfall shower over, WC, wash hand basin with mirror over, heated towel rail and tiled floor.
A stable door leads to the enclosed rear garden.
There are wooden floors throughout the first floor.
A lovely light room with window to the front and pretty window seat, double bed with bedside tables and lamps. Chest of drawers, mirror and chair.
With full size single beds (3ft), bedside table with lamp and velux window with blind.
WC, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, wall lighting and velux window.
A stable door leads from the back of the cottage to the enclosed rear garden.

There is a large shingled driveway giving off-road parking for two cars at the front of the cottage.

Norfolk is dotted with many delightful market towns which are well worth a visit, many situated along the coast and all with their own unique charm. Any one of them is worth exploring and discovering for yourself, but particular favourites include Burnham Market with its boutique clothing shops, and Aylsham, which offers a rich heritage and a peaceful pace of living.
