Situated close to the North Norfolk coast, the stylish village of Burnham Market is also less than 6 miles from the bustling harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea. Mahonia Cottage is located in a tranquil part of the village, but is still within easy reach of its popular shopping opportunities.
Burnham Market is famed as a shopping hotspot, and where better to return to after a day exploring its bustling retailers than a peaceful and roomy holiday home where you can really relax? The cottage is child and dog friendly. It has a large conservatory, a wonderful open plan kitchen diner and a cosy sitting room.
For anyone in need of retail therapy after a long day on the beach, Burnham Market is the place.
Chic, bustling and stylish there is something for everyone. Home to the the famous Hoste Arms Hotel where you can celebrity spot, and numerous independent shops selling everything from designer clothes to local sausages! Pentney House is one of the largest hat shops in the country and is worth a look. There are several art galleries and a wonderful second hand bookshop where you can lose yourself for hours. The village is situated just a couple of miles from the North Norfolk coast.
A wonderful light and airy room with tiled flooring, glazed windows and roof with roof blinds and views of the garden. The conservatory can be used all year round and is south facing and has heating for the cooler months, comfy sofa, table and chairs and even a dog bed! The conservatory is the recommended entrance to Mahonia Cottage, ideal when arriving from the rear of the house with parking spaces at the rear of the Cottage.
Stairs lead off to the first floor and a stairgate is an ideal barrier for both children and furry friends.Doors leads off to the cloakroom. kitchen/diner and sitting room.

A spacious kitchen with painted units, wooden work surfaces, electric oven and grill with electric hob and cooker hood. There is a stainless steel sink with mixer tap, kettle, microwave and toaster, integrated appliances including dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
The kitchen opens completely onto the lovely dining area with attractive open shelving to one wall and a dining table and eight chairs, great for mealtimes with family and friends. Two windows at the front allows the light to flood into the kitchen and dining area. Double doors open into the cosy sitting room.
A lovely cosy room with wooden floors with electric underfloor heating and an attractive corner fireplace with open fire. There is a comfy three seater sofa in front of the and two tub chairs.There is a widescreen TV with DVD player and a range of DVD's.
First floor landing
Doors lead off to the bedrooms and family bathroom.
A lovely bright room with king size bed with ottoman, bedside drawers with lamps and dormer window with roman blind. There is a small wardrobe with drawer for storage and a door leads into the en-suite shower room.

There is a corner shower cubicle with electric shower, pedestal wash hand basin and WC. There is a window with roman blind.
Double bed with pine headboard and matching side tables with lamps and window with roman blind. There is a large fitted wardrobe with ample storage for clothes with shelving and hanging space.
Twin 3ft beds suitable for both adults and children, central bedside table with lamp and a wonderful arched window with pretty striped curtains.
WC and wash hand basin with mirror and light over, part panelling to walls and bath with tiling.
There is a small enclosed garden to the front with picket fence and hedgerow for added privacy and a central pathway leading to the front door.
Rear garden and parking
The rear garden is fully enclosed, there is a patio area, bench seating and tables & chairs.The garden is mainly laid to lawn with a picket fence at the rear and gate that leads to the private parking area for Archway Cottages with two designated parking spaces for Mahonia Cottage.

Any one of them is worth exploring and discovering for yourself, but particular favourites include Burnham Market with its boutique clothing shops, and Aylsham, which offers a rich heritage and a peaceful pace of living.
