Completely private, but semi-detached from Foxglove (sleeping 2), this charming wooden cottage is comfortable and welcoming and has an amazing deck with stunning views out towards the Houghton Hall Estate.
There is excellent walking right outside the door and everything that the North Norfolk Coast has to offer is just a few minutes drive away.
Houghton is a charming village dominated by the beautiful Houghton Hall and surrounded by open countryside.
Just 15 minutes from the coast, the village is ideally situated to explore North Norfolk.
Villages nearby include Docking, Stanhoe, Burnham Market, East Rudham & Syderstone.

A step up from the sitting room leads to contemporary modern kitchen and dining area. There is an integral electric hob with extractor hood over and integral fan assisted oven, microwave, slimline dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. The window looks out to the rear of the property over the paddocks and views to the fields. There is a glazed door leading out to the decking and an extendable dining table and six chairs. The master bedroom and bathroom lead off from this area.

To the rear is a substantial decked area accessed from the sitting room, with garden furniture and barbecue, looking out over the beautiful fields & woodland to Houghton Hall Park.
There is an outside light so you can sit and enjoy the deck into the evening.
A gate from the decking leads into a substantial grassed paddock area which is available to the two cottages.
The divide between Hollyhock and its neighbour is completely screened with established climbing plants growing up the trellis ensuring complete privacy.
There is adequate parking for three cars to the front of the property.
The owners live adjacent to the cottages but do not overlook them in any way.
There are shared, coin-operated laundry facilities (washer and dryer) with the neighbouring property, Foxglove.
Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge).

Any one of them is worth exploring and discovering for yourself, but particular favourites include Burnham Market with its boutique clothing shops, and Aylsham, which offers a rich heritage and a peaceful pace of living.
