Located in the leafy Georgian square known as the Buttlands, Holly Lodge is an ideal holiday home for anyone looking to spend some time by the shore in the popular port town of Wells-next-the-Sea, a prime destination on the North Norfolk coast.
Holly Lodge has been beautifully refurbished to an exceptionally high standard. It boasts a lovely open-plan living area downstairs that allows the whole family to be together in one area. There are two sets of french doors out to the secure garden to the rear and the whole house has a bright and airy feel.
This property forms part of a three house terrace comprising Holly Cottage (sleeps two), Holly House (sleeps eight) and this property Holly Lodge. All three are completely self-contained and have private secure gardens which are individually fenced and could be booked together for large family gatherings or parties. The Holly properties are ideally situated on the edge of the Buttlands between The Globe and The Edinburgh, just one minute's walk from Staithe Street which bustles with independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
Wells-next-the-Sea is a popular destination around the year. A charming, traditional seaside town with sandy beaches protected by a pinewood forest.
From the picturesque harbour you can either walk, take the narrow-gauge railway or drive to the spectacular beach.
Stop at the Beach Cafe afterwards for a drink and snack, and perhaps some clothes shopping.
Wells has a pretty, leafy green peaceful square,The Buttlands, which is surrounded by fine Georgian buildings. There is a bustling high street with all kinds of independent shops, some lovely tearooms and great gastro pubs and restaurants. Great local pubs include The Crown Inn, The Globe and The Victoria at Holkham.
A visit to Wells wouldn't be complete without trying your luck at a spot of crabbing on the quayside, or simply relaxing and watching the world go by whilst sampling the best in local fish and chip cuisine.

There is a small patio & lawned garden accessed through the double glazed doors in the reception room. The back garden is fully secure and private which is part walled and part willow fencing. The front garden is also enclosed but relies on the gates to the front of each property to be closed.
Parking is available without restriction on the Buttlands to the front of the property.
Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge).

Any one of them is worth exploring and discovering for yourself, but particular favourites include Burnham Market with its boutique clothing shops, and Aylsham, which offers a rich heritage and a peaceful pace of living.
