What can I do?
Cotswold Wildlife Park
Cotswold Wildlife Park houses all sorts of amazing animals including penguins, giraffes, rhinos and lions. The park is part safari, where you’re in the car, and part zoo, where you can get out and walk around. Why not pack a picnic the night before and eat it overlooking the zebra, camel and rhino enclosures?
Blenheim Palace is an incredible country house in Oxfordshire. This historic house provides a look into the past and will blow you away with the sheer opulence and scale of the building. Don’t forget to explore the amazing gardens and parkland; there are several themed trails to follow around the estate.
Bourton-On-The-Water is considered one of the prettiest villages in the UK. Sometimes referred to as the Venice of the Cotswolds, this gorgeous little village is great to explore. We recommended visiting the Birdland park containing over 500 birds or a ‘Bloody Bourton’ guided walking tour with historical information focused on crime, ghosts and murder.
There are loads of great festivals during the year near our Cotswold holiday homes. Make sure you check out the Chipping Norton Town Festival in June, the Cornbury Music Festival in July and The Wilderness Festival and Big Feastival in August.
