On arrival we had the best surprise and were told we had been upgraded from a caravan to a luxury lodge. Absolutely fantastic start to great holiday. The lodge was superb and the kids were very impressed with their on suite bathroom. Loads of space all round, well kitted out and very comfortable. The whole week was lovely. Nice walks straight from the site, good family friendly food in town, Dovedale a short drive and Alton Towers only 30 min away (go on a wet day and you won’t wait more than 1/2 hour for a ride). Staff friendly and helpful. Site has a decent play park too. Would definitely come again.

Peak District Holiday Park has some great on-park amenities to make your stay even more enjoyable. The indoor heated swimming pool is a fantastic place to take a dip (small charge applies), and kids can blow off steam in the outdoor play area. For those everyday needs, you'll find a handy shop on site. There's also a picnic area, a dog-walking area, and a laundrette.
Walking the Peak District
With the spectacular scenery of the Peak District National Park all around you, it's hard to resist getting out and experiencing it close up. The popular 13-mile Tissington Trail footpath, cycle route and bridleway passes right by the park entrance, so you don't need to go far to start exploring.
