For adventurers there are many great walks and cycle routes right from the cottage and of course there is nearby Burnham Market which offers numerous shopping and dining opportunities.
Horatio Nelson's birthplace Burnham Thorpe is an easy drive too, as are the beaches at Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea with its pretty beach huts and white sands, and as is the 'norm' for Norfolk, dogs are welcome all year round
