Our happy customers

Stephen (TripAdvisor)

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a really relaxing and enjoyable time. The room was great, with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Rachel (TripAdvisor)

The surrounding area is beautiful and the accommodation is clean, modern and has everything you could need. Great sea view from all the rooms, These are the nicest self catering apartments I have stayed in.

Doug (TripAdvisor)

Having stayed in various hotels, B&Bs, self-catering apartments, etc across the world, this is one of the best I've stayed in. The whole Inn is spotlessly clean, as is the room, which is also very well appointed and pleasant.

Studio room was warm as toast and so well stocked. Lovely refreshments on arrival and made us very comfortable. Amazing views out to the stormy spectacular Pentland Firth and Stroma.

Anonymous (TripAdvisor)

The apartment is very modern, minimalistic, with a sparkling new kitchen with all the amenities. Bed and linens very high quality. We loved the great view towards Orkney from the large windows.

Accommodation was open plan, beautiful, modern, contemporary, with what I can only describe as a Scandinavian feel with hints of modern Highland interior decor.

What can I do?

Local Beaches

Caithness has some lovely beaches which are great for coastal walks. The views at Duncansby Beach are absolutely stunning. Here you’ll be able to watch the waves batter the famous coastal stacks and appreciate the striking landscape. Shell Beach is also worth a visit, the sand is made entirely of broken shells, hence the name. Keep an eye out for puffins and other sea birds.

Boat Rides

One of the most exciting things to do in this wild landscape is embark on a sea safari. During your trip you are likely to see porpoises, dolphins and grey seals, not to mention a myriad selection of sea birds. If you’re particularly lucky you might see orca and minke whales.
