Home Farm Holiday Park is a superb holiday resort close to Burnham-on-Sea on the Somerset coast which offers countless things to see and do. With a packed live entertainment schedule in the peak season including music and comedy acts, plenty of fun events for all the family, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a well-stocked fishing lake, it's the perfect place for a family break however you like to spend your time.

The resort's facilities are top notch and include a restaurant, a supermarket, a well-equipped leisure centre, and plenty of space for kids to play. The location is fantastic, too, situated only a few minutes' drive from Junction 22 of the M5 so it's easy to access, but also just a couple of miles from the traditional seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea, putting a day at the beach within easy reach. Entertainment Complex

The entertainment complex hosts over 100 nights of live entertainment every year, as well as a range of children's shows and family events. There's also a restaurant and two amusement arcades. Note opening hours are limited outside peak season.

Swimming Pools

There's plenty of chances to make a splash here, with an outdoor swimming pool open from May half-term to September 1st, as well as an indoor heated swimming pool available all year round (fees apply).

Fishing Lake

Try and land a big one on the resort's well-stocked fishing lake, where you can catch common carp, bream and pike. You'll need a rod fishing licence and a fishing permit (available at reception).

Leisure Centre

The well-equipped leisure centre doesn't just contain the heated indoor pool, there's also a superbly equipped gym, a sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room, and even a Starbucks. Admission charges apply.

Home Farm Holiday Park is just a couple of miles from the beaches at Burnham-on-Sea, a traditional seaside town that's the perfect place to head for the whole family to spend some time by the water.

Things to Try

Burnham-on-Sea

For some traditional seaside fun, pay a visit to the bustling coastal town of Burnham-on-Sea, which boasts beautiful beaches, a classic pier, and some fantastic shops and restaurants. Enjoy a stroll along the seafront, splash around in the water, or just enjoy exploring the town - there's lots to do.

Cheddar Gorge & Caves

Don't miss the incredible natural landmark of Cheddar Gorge, a striking limestone canyon which offers far-reaching views from the top, as well as some fascinating show caves used by humans through history. Don't forget to visit the village of Cheddar and pick up some of the famous cheese.

Weston-super-Mare

Another classic seaside destination, Weston-super-Mare is a great place for a day out. Walk on the beach, play a round of crazy golf or try the high-ropes course at Pirate Adventureland, or visit the Grand Pier for amusements and attractions - then round off the day with some fish 'n' chips.

Clarks Village

For a shopping trip with a difference, pay a visit to Clarks Village, where you'll find a wide range of retail outlets to suit all tastes, as well as a variety of superb restaurants and food vans for meals and refreshments. There's even an adventure playground, so the kids won't get bored either.

Just a 20-minute drive from Home Farm, the village of Wedmore is famous among foodies for fantastic pub meals, with the Swan, the George, and the New Inn of particular note, The superb local restaurants and charming tea rooms are well worth a visit too, and there's also an annual Real Ale Festival.

For Attractions

There are all sorts of things worth seeing in the stunning city of Wells. Step into history with a visit to its incredible cathedral, the beautiful Bishop's Palace and Gardens, and Vicars' Close, the only complete medieval street left in England. And don't miss the market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

For Activities

For a relaxing stroll that offers plenty of sightseeing opportunities, head over to Glastonbury and take a walk up the Tor to marvel at the far-reaching views and see St Michael's Tower up close, then wander downhill to explore the town itself, including the quirky shops and the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey.
