This holiday park makes the most of its location on Windermere’s shore and has six piers and two slipways for boat launching, free for the use of guests with portable vessels such as kayaks, dinghies and paddleboards.

Bowness-on-Windermere
This popular, bustling Lakeland town on Windermere's shore is just 5 miles from the holiday park and is well worth a visit. Enjoy the charming Victorian atmosphere and countless local amenities, plus tours and activities as well as the 'World of Beatrix Potter' attraction that fans of her books are sure to love.
Islands of Windermere
There are 18 scenic islands dotted around the waters of Windermere, many of which you are welcome to row or sail a boat to and explore for yourself. There are also cruises available which will take you on a sightseeing tour of these amazing and romantic locations.
The Lakes Aquarium
Enjoy a wild day out in the Lake District with a trip to the Lakes Aquarium on Windermere's southern shore. Here you'll see all kinds of aquatic creatures from the Lake District and around the world, including fish like pike, piranha, and pufferfish, as well as otters, waterbirds, reptiles, and amphibians.
Wray Castle
This stunning 19th-century Gothic Revival castle sits alongside Windermere and boasts looming towers and evocative turrets. The castle and its fantastic interior are open to explore, as are the extensive grounds with informal gardens. There's also an exciting play trail for the kids to enjoy.
