If you book a holiday and
• the accommodation has to close because of another lockdown; or,
• there is a lockdown in your area of residence which prevents you from being able to travel,

we will move your booking to another date or offer a full refund!

What's more, for added protection we are also offering the most inclusive refundable booking option available in the UK, covering a broad range of reasons for cancellation and ensuring you can get a full, hassle-free refund if you need to.

How does it work?

Refundable Booking is an optional extra that offers added peace of mind - just tick the box to purchase the cover when you book.

If you then need to cancel your break, all you need to do is apply online with evidence of your reason for cancelling and once approved, the refund goes directly into your chosen bank account within 4 days - no hassle! Refunds are available on bookings made through Michael Paul Holidays up to a maximum value of £5,000 per person. This includes the entire transaction, including booking fees and any holiday extras. Please note that this option is only available at the time of booking!

What's covered?

Refundable Booking covers you for a wide variety of cancellation circumstances, including if you are required to self-isolate due to contracting COVID-19 within two weeks of the starting date of your holiday. Get refunded if you need to cancel your holiday for any of the following reasons:

• Illness or injury • Pre-existing medical condition • Pregnancy complication • Death of an immediate family member • Public transport failure • Scheduled airline failure • Mechanical breakdown • Jury service • Home emergency • Court summons • Armed forces or emergency services recall • Adverse weather • Relocated for work • Changes to examination dates
