Yorkshire Dales Eco Lodges

The Yorkshire Dales National Park is one of the most extraordinary and beautiful places in England. It’s an area that is teeming with natural wildlife living amongst its rich green hills, ancient forests cut through by rivers and streams and moorland. If you would like to get back to nature by staying on the southern edge of the Dales with 54 acres of all this splendour to explore then look no further.

Michael Paul Holidays is delighted to offer a very special ‘green’ holiday option with strong eco credentials. Luxurious self-catering holidays and breaks can be taken in 18 beautifully-designed timber-framed lodges right in the National Park at Aislabeck yet within an easy stroll along the famous walking and biking ‘Coast to Coast’ path from the historic town of Richmond.

Timber for these spacious lodges comes from sustainable woodlands and they also have evergreen sedum roofs, biomass heating and use natural spring water for drinking and showers, helping towards their zero carbon status. The centrally-heated lodges are available with a choice of two different bathroom combinations, both are luxurious with, for example, the finest quality Egyptian cotton bedlinen and, in the bathrooms, natural toiletries for your use. The open plan living areas have full height glass walls to capture the stunning views, really comfortable seating, a log fire, flat screen TV, DVD and sound system.

There’s also a fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area and a broad sweep of decking outside. The Eco Lodges have a strong service ethos and offer a full concierge service to their guests. So if, before you arrive, you want help from us in planning interesting activities during your holiday, hiring mountain bikes, booking a day’s riding on the moor or some fishing on the River Swale or you simply want to order a hamper full of delicious treats to start the holiday in style, it’s easy to arrange.
