Situated at Trewhiddle near St Austell in Cornwall this property offers spectacular scenery, fabulous views and miles upon miles of natural beauty and idyllic walks. The property has an open plan kitchen/living/dining area which is beautifully appointed with french doors and built in spot lights making the space bright and airy. 

There is a large L-shaped sofa in the living area as well as a TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped and decorated in neutral cream shades with a dining table seating 4. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 with a zip and link mattress meaning the room can be set up as either a twin or a double. The cottage has 1 luxury family bathroom with a shower over the bath, a WC and basin. Outside there is a relaxing patio area.

This is a great choice if you have children. Enjoy a day of family fun and test your nerves of steel on Flambards' thrill rides. Alternatively, there are lots of rides suitable for younger children such as the carousel and the animal express. For some educational fun visit the Victorian village or the Britain in the Blitz exhibition.

Local Beaches

For traditional seaside fun head to Pentewan Sands situated only 7 minutes’ drive from your villa. The sandy beach and clear blue waters provide the perfect surroundings for a relaxed day out with friends and family. Dogs are allowed on the beach during off peak season so if you’re visiting during winter don’t forget to bring your four-legged friend.

The Eden Project

The Eden Project is internationally recognised as one of the leading conservation efforts. Walk through the state of the art bio-domes and discover the rainforest and mediterranean ecosystems. The Eden Project has been designed with children in mind and has loads of different activities and events like story-telling, a climbing wall and an outdoor play area.



Cornwall is home to some of the best surfing beaches in the UK. The north coast is only half an hour’s drive away and it is here where you’ll find the best surfing conditions. There are lots of great coastal path walks to be had should you fancy taking in the seaside scenery. Bikes are a great way to get out and about in St Austell. If you don’t want to bring your own cycles you can hire bikes at the base of the Pentewan trail. The clay trails are excellent cycling territory. You’ll pass miles of beautiful scenery as well as the old derelict mines.
