Atherstone Cottage was perfect for our weekend stay. The cottage was very clean, tidy and furnished to a high standard. Nice rooms and very comfy bed. I would highly recommend staying here.

The cottage is so beautiful and in a peaceful location. It has loads of space and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The service and communication from the host, Ewan, was exceptional and I would highly recommend his place

What a fabulous, luxurious and stylish place to stay! It was very warm and cosy, with extremely comfortable beds, and lots thoughtful little touches. The cottage is in a quiet, rural location and made a great base for exploring the countryside. We would definitely stay again. Thanks, Ewen

What can I do?

Cider Farms and Breweries

Those who like a drink will want to pay a visit to some traditional cider producers while they're in Somerset, with Perry's Cider in Dowlish Wake and the Somerset Cider Brandy Company and Burrow Hill Cider at Burrow Hill. Those who prefer their beer may want to head to the Stocklinch Ales microbrewery instead.

Ilminster

With a church dating back to 1450 and medieval buildings all around, Ilminster is a delightful market town that's truly steeped in history. It's a fantastic place for a leisurely visit where you can enjoy some shopping, relax at a cafe and take in the sights and the town's heritage.
