Bluestone Wales, set in the heart of the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, is a truly special holiday village, recently awarded a 5 star grading by Visit Wales for the quality of its holiday lodges, cottages and facilities. If your idea of heaven is to stay somewhere really civilised that is close to nature and within easy reach of, arguably, the most spectacular coastline in the UK, Bluestone is for you. It is an easy drive from many of Pembrokeshire’s finest beaches where you can try kayaking, surfing and kite surfing or simply potter amongst the rock pools, walk the coastal paths or build sandcastles. A super coastal holiday!

Bluestone offers a perfect, year round escape for family holidays, couples or groups of friends. You’ll stay in one of the stylish, well-equipped self-catering log cabin style holiday lodges with uninterrupted views over the glorious Preseli Hills. They sleep from two to eight people and are dotted around 500 acres of unspoilt countryside or the lake. Welcome packs of essential provisions to get you started can be booked in advance as can party packs and even lodge decoration if you’re there to celebrate something.

Bluestone has its own friendly pub, a wine bar and three restaurants – Carreg Las which offers all you could wish for in fine dining – or for simpler meals, The Granary and The Smithy. You’ll also find The Well in the village. It is a wonderful holistic spa with no less than 11 treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms, salt and ice rooms and a mini gym – the very epitome of calm and well-being. Oh and did we mention the Blue Lagoon, an indoor water park with wave pool, flumes and lazy river rides just on the edge of Bluestone, and, right on site, an amazing indoor Adventure Centre. New for 2010, the Centre features a giant adventure playground, mini golf, the Sky Trail high ropes course, Techniquest, a LEGO room  and much more. Also new for 2010 is the Steep Ravine range of woodland activities, including a formidable high ropes and zip wire course, the Woodland Warriors laser combat experience and bushcraft classes at Base Camp. So variety is the theme. Whether you are looking for a family lodge holiday in Pembrokeshire or a chilled out spa break in Wales. It’s all waiting for you.
