Plan B Guest Artist at the Eden Project
6th July 2012
Urban superstar Plan B will perform his stunning stage show with soulful hits from his number one album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks, at our one-day music festival.
Minack Theatre Summer Season
18th April - 25th September
Cornwall's Minack open air theatre in spectacular cliff side surroundings at Porthcurno. Pack a picnic and see a show. Click here for more information.
Boconnoc Steam Fair
22nd Jul - 24th July
The Boconnoc Steam Fair is one of the leading events of its kind in the South West, with some people saying that it’s the best. With its picturesque setting and many exhibits it’s hard to beat with its relaxed atmosphere. No wonder why people are travelling far and wide to visit us. The Boconnoc Steam Fair 2012 is held on 20th - 22nd July. Gates open from 8am daily. During the show there are many exhibits for you to view, these include over 30 full size steam engines, More miniature steam engines expected this year than last year, a wide selection of classic and vintage cars are also expected.
The St Endellion Music Festivals
31st July - 10th August
The St Endellion Music Festivals take place at Easter and in the Summer every year in the Collegiate Church of St Endelienta, bringing together a wide range of exciting musicians from all over the world. St Endellion is near Port Isaac and about a mile from the glorious North Cornwall coast.?The summer festival now fields a symphony orchestra and a chorus of 75 and even die-hard supporters from the early days admit the artistic standard has risen immeasurably and, with it, the ambitions of the festival’s programming. Drama has long since ceased to play a central part but concert performances of opera have become a popular tradition. Endellion operas have included The Rake’s Progress, Orfeo ed Eurydice, The Pilgrim’s Progress, Paul Bunyan, The Magic Flute, Ariadne auf Naxos, Fidelio, Tales of Hoffman, The Midsummer Marriage, Gloriana, Tannhaüser and Peter Grimes.
Port Eliot Festival
19th - 22nd July

Charlestown Regatta Week
28th July
There'll be a wide range of events to enjoy both on the water and around the harbour. The main event is the Charlestown sailing regatta but this is supported by live music, carnival procession, children’s events and competitions.
Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week
11th - 19th August
One of the South West's premier sailing events. A programme of shore side events also takes place with a carnival, family fun and fireworks.
Cornwall Design Fair in association with Hidden Art
20th-21st August
The Cornwall Design Fair in association with Hidden Art will return to the glorious setting of Trereife House from 20-21 August. The event is a true celebration of the quality and diversity of contemporary Cornish design and offers the public a fantastic chance to buy direct from over 80 designer-makers. The Hidden Art Fair will present a wide range of contemporary design, with furniture, interior products, ceramics, glass, lighting, jewellery, textiles and fashion accessories for sale. Design-led workshops will be a feature of the weekend as well the chance to wander the historic house where chosen work by a number of designers will be shown. 11am - 6pm at Trereife Park near Newlyn.
Bude Jazz Festival
28th August – 31s August
For one whole week, New Orleans comes to Bude, the small and unspoilt seaside town on Cornwall's beautiful Atlantic Coast. 2011 celebrates the 24th Bude Jazz Festival in which 120 jazz events will be packed into seven days at one of Britain’s leading Jazz Festival. A single stroller ticket will give you admission to all but two of the events.
The 8th World Belly Board Championships
2nd September 2012
For 8 consecutive years, Chapel Porth is playing host to the WBBC. This contest celebrates all things connected with the art of riding a wooden board. Not only are the judges looking for skill in the sea, prizes also include best varnish, best costume & best cake. Click here for further information.
