Our 4 bedroom cottages the Game Keeper and The Kestrel: Gamekeeper sits under the shade of Ben More and Stob Binnein, and looks down on Portnellan House and eastwards across Glen Dochart and Loch Luibhair. The open plan sitting/dining room has a fully-fitted kitchen.  From the lounge, patio doors open onto a private balcony with garden furniture.

Kestrel is one of the original Portnellan lodges – but is still impressively appointed. It features a larger-than-usual sitting and dining area and is situated near the house, at the foot of the estate’s natural ampitheatre. One king size double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. Tiled bathroom with shower over bath.

At Portnellan we offer wonderful 4* lodges also, each with two bedrooms, sleeping up to 4.  Each with its own charm and individual characteristics, it’s difficult to decide which is our favourite!

Classed as ‘Excellent on Trip Advisor, Portnellan is a ‘little piece of heaven’ in tranquil surroundings, enjoy the quiet of this stunning highland escape.

Stalker and Fisher are our cozy large single bedroom lodges which nestle in the natural glen behind Portnellan House. Both Lodges face west – their patios are real sun traps! The generous open plan living space have sitting and dining areas, and a fitted kitchen with breakfast bar. The bedroom features a King size double and an additional single bed, while the bathroom is complete with a power shower over the bath.

Lapwing, our third one bedroom Lodge sits on the North side of the estate, sited close to the loch.  With a King size master bedroom, open plan living space and private balcony.

The views over the Loch and surrounding glen and mountains of Breadalbane are awe inspiring. It is a true “Highland hideaway” We often say that Portnellan is “in the middle of nowhere but the centre of everywhere”.

The accommodation is fitted to the highest specification, each lodge affords every comfort.
