Our 4 bedroom cottages the Game Keeper and The Kestrel: Gamekeeper sits under the shade of Ben More and Stob Binnein, and looks down on Portnellan House and eastwards across Glen Dochart and Loch Luibhair. The open plan sitting/dining room has a fully-fitted kitchen. From the lounge, patio doors open onto a private balcony with garden furniture.

Kestrel is one of the original Portnellan lodges – but is still impressively appointed. It features a larger-than-usual sitting and dining area and is situated near the house, at the foot of the estate’s natural ampitheatre. One king size double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. At Portnellan we offer wonderful 4* lodges also, each with two bedrooms, sleeping up to 4. Each with its own charm and individual characteristics, it’s difficult to decide which is our favourite!
